The system includes a robot equipped with a special gripper, which first picks up the inserts from a feeder, then unloads the molded part onto the press, and finally loads the inserts into the mold. The robot can also perform additional process steps, including studding the part. Additionally, it can also perform the sprue cutting cycle from the molded part.
