ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

Management establishes and maintains a documented environmental policy, which is consistently implemented, disseminated, and communicated within the company, engaging and raising awareness among the company's suppliers and customers. This policy contains the principles, strategies, and actions aimed at improving services that impact the environment. The company's values of respect for its environment become the cornerstone and driving force behind ensuring a non-invasive environmental impact that guarantees and improves the protection of natural resources, while also seeking to continuously improve the quality standards of the services offered.

Based on these principles, management is committed to improving its environmental performance, establishing appropriate objectives and targets to:

1) reduce pollution;

2) reduce energy consumption;

3) respect the environment;

4) promote ecological and sustainable initiatives outside the company (locally).

With a view to continuously improving corporate management and environmental performance, the company has introduced policies and programs aimed at business quality and environmental protection, in compliance with applicable regulations. To ensure the proper management of all company activities and the efficiency and effectiveness of its Environmental Management System (EMS), it has also introduced controls and audits on processes that affect or may affect the environment and its management organization. This includes understanding the needs and expectations of stakeholders who may positively or negatively impact the company's operations, all of which are aimed at continuously improving its management system. Objectives are set based on the characteristics of the services provided, customer requests, the potential significant impacts of the company's activities, and the available human and financial resources, in compliance with the legal provisions on pollution prevention to which the company is subject.

Management is committed to complying with environmental legislation and regulations applicable to the organization's services and processes, including those based on specific authorizations issued by competent authorities. The Company's objective of environmental improvement is therefore to continue providing products that meet customer satisfaction while respecting the environment, and identifying, within the limits defined by contractual documents, the highest-performing and most reliable solutions.

In achieving these objectives, the company is committed to implementing processes, products, and services, seeking technological solutions to ensure compliance with applicable legislation and standards of good environmental practice, and within the limits of its resources and existing technology to contain and prevent pollution.

To this end, Management has chosen to use the environmental management system, compliant with the requirements of the UNI ISO 14001:2015 standard, as an operational and reference tool to continuously improve the company's "environmental system."

The Environmental Management Model has been implemented within our organization, informing and guiding, through the use of Procedures, the activities of Company personnel regarding their respective tasks and responsibilities regarding Environmental System Management in their areas of employment and expertise.

It forms the basis for approval of the Environmental Management System (EMS) by the Organization and by inspection and/or certification bodies. To ensure that Environmental Management is an effective operational dimension for the company, Management provides training courses on environmental management methods and the site's environmental issues. Furthermore, the company encourages staff to propose ideas for improvement.

To ensure proper improvement of the Environmental Management System and to verify the adequacy, effectiveness, and efficiency of processes, the company is committed to developing operating procedures and planning and conducting periodic internal assessments. The environmental policy is made available to all members of the organization, customers, suppliers, and relevant bodies or entities through publication on the corporate website at www.autind.com. Management delegates the responsibility of managing environmental impact issues to the Environmental Manager, granting him or her the necessary freedom and authority to identify problems, coordinate solutions, and take necessary corrective actions.

The Environmental Manager must report the results of the above-determined measures to Management during the System review, in the manner and within the established timeframe.
